November is National Adoption Awareness Month! All month long Gateway Longview is highlighting the stories of our amazing adoptive families and their road to adoption. Today we highlight the Morris Family!
Meet the Morris Family!

Number of children fostered: 5
Number of children adopted: 3
Number of days Summer spent in foster care: 2235
Number of days Jared and Arianna spent in foster care: 2362
What led you to fostering?
"I started fostering because I always wanted to have a few kids. I was a little older when I had my first, so I decided not to have more and foster instead. I just planned on fostering and not adopting."
What made you decide to adopt?
"After about a year and a half of fostering, I was lucky enough to adopt a sibling group of three, 2 month-old twins and their 3-year-old sister."
How is your family now?
"We are now a family of 5. We are all doing well, trying to live our best lives. Playing sports and traveling when we can. We also started fostering again!"
