Throughout our Agency - Integration of Care at Gateway Longview
At Gateway Longview, we believe that a solution-focused, trauma-informed care approach has the ability to strengthen the knowledge, competencies, skill sets, and engagement as we work with individuals impacted by trauma. We ensure that all services are client driven with access to early screening and comprehensive assessments. We value workforce development, safe and secure environments, collaborative outreach, and partnership building.
Three designated Gateway Longview staff lead our solution-focused, trauma-informed care initiatives. This begins with a two hour introductory session at orientation for all newly hired staff, long term volunteers, and contracted providers. Initial training is followed by a full, two-day course for full-time staff members, including support department personnel. Additionally, throughout the year, our leaders offer mentoring, ongoing trainings, and incorporation into monthly meetings.
